CyberDefense is a trading brand of Fortify 24x7, and Fortify 24x7 ("we", "us") is the company you are contracting with. Buying or using a subscription here means you accept what follows. It is deliberately short, and we would like you to read it.

Clause 01What the subscription covers

Managed security services, sold by the unit, delivered by Fortify 24x7 on the vendor platforms identified on each solution page. The families offered here are managed detection and response, zero trust application control, email security with awareness training, endpoint and mobile device management, data loss prevention, and backup with recovery testing. Whichever capabilities, retention windows, and storage allowances apply to you are the ones printed on the page for the line you actually bought.

Clause 02How billing works

Every line bills monthly and up front, at the published rate for whichever unit it is counted by: an endpoint, a node, a mailbox, a user, a device, a server, a tenant, a company file. Stripe collects it. The charge lands on your statement under FORTIFY 24X7. It renews on its own each month until you stop it. Change a quantity and the change shows on the following invoice, never retroactively against one already settled.

Clause 03Stopping

Stop any line whenever you want, either in the billing portal or by sending us an email. Stopping halts the next renewal. Whatever period you have bought already continues to its end and then lapses. Money that has changed hands is dealt with in the Refund Policy.

Clause 04Data we hold on your behalf

Telemetry, alerts, and any protected content we keep for you are encrypted on the wire and on disk, and backup copies live on infrastructure deliberately separate from the systems they cover. The data belongs to you throughout. Our staff open it in three situations only: where running the service makes it necessary, where you have asked us to, and where a law obliges us. The detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Clause 05What we need from you

  • Getting our agents deployed and the cloud connectors authorized, so that what you bought is able to see anything at all. A machine carrying no agent is invisible to us, and nothing that was never in scope can be defended.
  • Keeping the card current and the account mailbox monitored. Alerts, notices, and every sign-in link arrive there.
  • Naming somebody we can reach who is permitted to approve things. This matters most for allowlisting decisions, and for containment while an incident is live.
  • Satisfying yourself that the lines and quantities on the order match the estate you meant to cover. We invoice what was selected.

Clause 06Standard of service, and the limit on it

We provide the service with the reasonable skill and care of a competent professional in this field. Security work is not a warranty against harm, and a great deal of what decides the outcome is not ours to govern: your network links, whether the covered systems are switched on, what your people choose to do, and how the underlying vendor platforms behave. To the fullest extent the law allows, everything we could owe on any one claim is capped at the fees received from you across the preceding three (3) months, and we carry no liability for indirect or consequential losses.

Clause 07Amendments

These terms can be amended. Where an amendment is material we will write to you about it not less than 30 days ahead of the date it begins to apply, and continuing with the service beyond that date counts as agreement to it.
